The Mission: Axiom-4 (Ax-4)

  • Launched early Wednesday from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
  • Carried by SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Crew Dragon capsule (nicknamed Grace).
  • First time astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary visit the International Space Station (ISS).
  • Mission duration: 14 days on the ISS, focusing on microgravity research.

  • Ax-4 is SpaceX’s 18th human spaceflight and Axiom’s 4th mission since 2022.
  • The capsule will dock with the ISS after ~28 hours in orbit (250 miles above Earth).
